Join Our Client's Firm as an Accounting Manager Our client, a leading Firm of Auditors and Accountants in Pretoria East, is seeking a seasoned SAIPA qualified professional to lead their dedicated Accounting team. Requirements: SAIPA qualification: BCom (Hons)/CTA with SAIPA articles. Proven experience in a practice environment. Proficiency in Draftworx and other relevant software. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent communication abilities in both Afrikaans and English. Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of small to medium-sized clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including liaising with SARS and managing tax filings and assessments. Accounting Processes: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and interpretation to provide insights and support decision-making. Audit Support: Coordinate and support audit activities, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditors. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small Accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and accuracy in tasks. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial inquiries and providing strategic financial advice.
