Randburg based Industrial/Automation company seeks a Field Service Technician with their own vehicle to join their team.

Mechanical installation of new equipment
on site.
- Commissioning of new equipment on site.
- Calibration

of new and existing equipment on site.
- Fault-finding and repair of

existing equipment on site.
- Leak tests on gamma isotopes on

site and in-house.
- Software upgrades on all equipment.
- ECO’s

on all equipment.

Standby duties.
- Manage stock levels of personal spares.
- Writing out of DWC’s (day

work certificates).
- Writing out of calibration data sheets.
- Writing

out of calibration certificates.
- Writing out of site reports.
- Debriefing

with service manager.
- Maintaining and developing

relationships with existing customers.
- Attend technical related

meetings / training courses

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Trade Test or National Diploma
or N5/N6 in electrical / instrumentation
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Ability to work long hours and overtime when required

Must have good time keeping skills and be punctual
- Must be able to do multi-tasking well
Must not have a criminal record or case pending, and must qualify for security clearance and medicals/inductions at all mines
- Must have their own (reliable) vehicle and be prepared to use same for business travel locally and across the
border(neighboring countries).
A three-month probation (evaluation) period will apply

Salary based on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Randburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
