**Introduction**:
We are looking to recruit a Reconciliation Clerk (Finance) to work within the Accounts Payable department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Supervisor (Finance).
**Job description**:
**Purpose and Objectives**:
- To reconcile accounts on a monthly basis using SAP and Excel.
- To liaise with suppliers, stores, internal stakeholders and management.
- To minimize losses/risk to the company.
- To alert the business to any irregularities.
- To complete daily filing of accounts and other administrative related issues.
- To pay the account(s) according to the due dates.
- Preparation of documentation to provide support for audit purposes
- Completing User Acceptance Testing of any testing to projects directly impacting the area
- Resolution of queries within KPA deadlines
- Completion of all weekly and monthly reports
**Minimum requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Matric level accountancy
- Relevant tertiary qualification such as B.Com, Btech or certificate in advanced Bookkeeping (an advantage)
- Strong PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
- SAP experience(essential)

- Strong attention to detail
- PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook) essential.
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with and communicate at all levels
- Good time management skills
- Ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines
