Job Title: Leasing Administrator
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for the full administrative function for the leasing process in respect to the tenants of the Commercial Portfolio.
Key Performance Areas
- Draft and manage tenant offers.
- Gather information and documents for the conclusion of letting deals (GOBI/FICA etc.) and complete
- Take full administrative responsibility for the leasing documentation process (through to completion)
- Follow up on outstanding leases
- Update website, vacancy schedules and PI monthly.
- Complete 6 monthly expiry schedules.
- Assist with marketing strategies and co-ordinate brokers functions.
- Administration of deals in progress
Knowledge
- Computer literate i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
- Prior property management system experience advantageous.

- Ability to draw schedules / reports on system
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Time management skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong touch-typing skills with a high accuracy rate
Competencies
- Strong organizational abilities and accuracy.

- Ability to manage pressure.
Experience
- Property-related administrative experience an advantage.
- At least two to three years of lease administration experience (including the drafting and administration of leases).
Education
- Matric - prerequisite
- Relevant post Matric qualification will be an advantage.

- Internal stakeholders (Leasing Consultants, Property and Portfolio Managers, Documentation)
External Liaison
- Tenants/Clients
Level of Decision Making
Decisions are primarily operational and guided by pre-defined policies, procedures, and supervision from senior staff.
Level of Problem Solving
Problem-solving is focused on execution, requiring attention to detail, coordination, and the ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines.
Role Location
Growthpoint Offices, Montclare.
Working Conditions
This position allows for flexibility in terms of a hybrid arrangement, upon arrangement with management. Busy periods may require extra hours to ensure deadlines are met.
