Looking to develop into a project manager? As part of a larger holding of companies, this consulting project management firm is the exclusive service provider to the development company and property fund within the group. A guaranteed pipeline of work then exists which includes small "white-boxing" projects, extensions of malls, conversions of commercial space into residential space and even green field housing developments. This small and busy team is looking for someone to support them administratively by taking on the following responsibilities and more: - Minute taking and distribution - Submitting of plans and managing approval process with tenants - Calculating monthly claims and processing payments - Diary management - Compiling schedules - Opening and maintaining tenant and other files - Drafting addendum to contracts - Liaising & Co-ordinating with sub-contractors Whilst your organisational skills and MS Office skills should be proven and efficient in this highly administrative role, there is also the opportunity to go to site and start taking on project reporting on smaller installations. As your experience and know-how grows, this portion of your role could be added to until the point where you may be running your own projects in time. It would therefore best suit a graduate with a building or construction related degree who is looking to carve out a career in client representation rather than contracting. Importantly you must have your own car and drivers license in order to be in a position to deliver documents, inspect work on site or run errands for the senior Projects team. This position is immediately available.
