**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- A Food Technology Diploma or a related qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
- Previous sales experience having worked within the food or chemical or spices or flavour or related industries calling on manufacturing markets is preferred for the role.
Must be fast paced, results and sales driven with a strong sales force.
- Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
- Must be computer literate with intermediate Excel skills.
- Developing a transverse relationship with the various Key Customers and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Ensuring and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understanding the customers overall business and activities
and identifying the customer needs and driving opportunities in agreement with the commercial business strategy, the market, category and portfolio.
- Driving the development of operational and strategic plans jointly with the customer and the internal organisation (targets, budgets).
- Actively pursuing business opportunities.
- Driving closure of long-term sales contracts.
- Pro-actively driving resolution of customer issues.
- Ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
- Acting as the main interface between the Company employees and the customer contracts.
- Ensuring a coherent implementation of commercial conditions in all markets and the solving of potential conflicts.
- Supervising the customer performances at all levels.
- Coordinating the new business opportunities in the region.
- Driving the development plans of customers within the region.
- Regularly encouraging top level customers to identify opportunities within the region.
