**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience having worked on HACCP and ISO 22000 and internal auditing is essential.
- Previous experience having worked as a Quality Supervisor working within the packaging, chemical or food or related industries is essential.
- Knowledge of audit standards is essential.
- Previous experience having managed a team of qc staff is essential for the role.
- Good excel and word skills are essential.
- Managing and overseeing all quality within this corrugated packaging company to improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that all products are conformed to the applicable approved standards and agreed specifications.
- Ensuring that all the processes and specifications are adhered to.
- managing and driving the qc team making crucial decisions.
- safeguarding HACCP policy and safety plan within the plant.
- Ensuring that the completion of inspection sheets and deviations are re-assessed and reported.
- Developing and reviewing quality management systems and procedures.
- Developing processes and improving on existing products/processes.
- Managing and evaluating internal company audits and external customer audits.
- Updating all essential certifications and iso systems to avoid disruptions in production.
- Investigating and reporting on internal non-conformances.
- Managing and conducting regular supplier quality assurance and internal plant audits.
- Investigating and reporting on customer complaints.
- Training staff with regards to safety and quality processes and procedures.
- Assisting in sourcing raw materials and running production trials on new products.
- Developing and implementing food safety plan audit schedules.
