Sales Administration Assistant

Looking for a sales assistant, that can help me grow a business. Initially it will be a work from home scenario mostly with meetups to train etc

This is a technical and sales position that will be a ‘jack of all trades’ scenario, at least in the beginning, so versatility is key. A “go getter” with focus and energy required.

Will get a basic training rate first few months and then once value assessed will get a basic (low) and commission (high %).

Someone with good manners who knows how to work with people (clients and suppliers)

Someone who can handle pressure at times.

Someone that problem solves and improvises, and doesn’t give up easily. Pro-active

And then of course someone with some ambition / vision necessary to build a business.

Someone with a neat work standard and is committed to handing over quality work ie: pride in their work - not a slap dash style.

Someone who keeps safety standards in view.

Someone who is able to intelligently prioritise.

**Basic educational background**:
Preferred is someone with a technical education with an aptitude for electronics

Someone that has an Electrical Background preferred

Someone with Lighting experience

Will be a work from home scenario mostly with meetups to train etc

Comfortable with software and firmware updating and for instance the programming inverters and so forth

**Tasks to be done**:
Sales administration. Handling incoming sales, quotes, invoicing, sourcing goods, dispatching goods and so forth - primarily.

E-commerce site maintenance: Uploading products, keeping prices up to date, product research and writing useful product information - secondarily.

Collecting goods at suppliers (occasionally)

Acting as a Rep (visiting potential customers to show / explain products and info) (occasionally)

Site visits to access the suitability of installations

And finally, the development of your own client portfolioso that your income can be grown. I want you to grow your own client base so that your commission can grow

**Salary**: From R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fish Hoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 2 years (preferred)
