**Responsibilities** **QUALITY** - Follow food safety procedures - Follow good manufacturing practices and Good Laboratory Practices - Make sure every analysis result is within the product specification - Compile the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product batch packed **RISK CONTROL** - Ensure housekeeping is maintained at all times - Clean equipment, utensils and work area - Ensure all the chemicals used for the different analysis are stored in the chemical cupboard and locked - Ensure that the Glass breakage procedure is followed when there is breakage in the Lab - When there is a spillage make sure that the floor is clear as soon as possible - Ensure that personal safety equipment is in use at all times as required by the safety regulations e.g earplugs must be worn in production at all times **Qualifications** - Diploma: Food Technology (or equivalent in experience) - 1-3 Laboratory Experience - Experience with GC - Computer Literacy - Written & Oral communication **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
