**purpose**:
To develop strategic relationships to ensure that pricing strategies fit into the overall business strategy. Provide support in the management of pricing and profit margins on new and existing business.

**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum: Degree or Relevant Banking Qualifications.
- Preferred: Honours degree in Finance/Actuarial.
- At least 5 years Pricing and Profitability experience in credit related products.
- Minimum 2 years managerial and leadership experience.

**responsibilities**:

- Know and understand customer needs in order to deliver a quality service.
- Adhere to shared company values and service standards with regard to customer interaction.
- Ensure that product knowledge and advice is technically accurate.
- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide proactive advice and solutions to stakeholders.
- Review and improve on an ongoing basis workflow processes and procedures to maintain quality and achieve optimal operational targets and manage delivery within set budgetary requirements in accordance with the business plan and monitor compliance.
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices and implement appropriate interventions to ensure compliance with audit requirements for pricing policies and processes.
- Assess projects and initiative appropriately in terms of cost/benefit analysis to ensure alignment to business objectives and manage any exceptions.
- Improve business decisions by analysing data and provide business with reliable business intelligence to influence decision making.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the business strategy through the development and implementation of the overall objectives and manage exceptions in order to directly influence profitability of products.
- Accountable for the achievement of productivity levels based on the operational environment.
- During performance assessment: provide feedback, instruction and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future responsibilities.
