- Excellent stock management skills e.g. stock take and spot check procedures

Job Function:
To ensure all of the following:

- Each staff member has an updated job profile and that these are filled with the policies of the Company
- Correct procedures are followed when disciplining staff
- Bimonthly meetings are held with staff to keep them informed and focused on the vision of the Company
- Meetings are held with staff regarding their performance to ensure that they function at 100% with their job profile
- Budget is prepared within the acceptable Company policies, including capital expenditure requirements.
- Best possible price is effectively received for the delivery of our products through South Africa and the World
- Relationship with transport suppliers is maintained to form a partnership in which both can share
- Warehouse team receives product request lists daily
- Minimum stock levels are maintained to reduce the pressure of delivering on time
- Picking slips and invoices are received within the parameters set out by the policies of the Company
- All deliveries are performed with minimum hassle.
- All vehicles run smoothly, and their costs are controlled.
- All cost effective deliveries are achieved.
- All deliveries done comply with the road traffic act
- All export documentation is completed accurately and correctly according to set sales agreements and standards
- All exports are dispatched within the set timelines
- All products required for export orders are manufactured in the quickest possible time
- All documentation is kept up to date and is completed correctly and timeously.
- All documentation is submitted in time to the Finance Department
- Bank orders are finalized on receipt of outstanding inventory items
- Label stock is always withing acceptable levels
- On request, Branch Administrators receive correct IBT numbers and are advised on the transport to be used
- All Inter Branch Transfers must be picked, checked, packed and distributed correctly and on time
- Promptly respond to daily queries from Branches and other Departments (including Online queries)
- Spot Checks are done weekly on random selection to avoid major shortages at Stock Take time and all discrepancies are resolved on time.
- Bin allocation to completed at least a week before official stock take
- The warehouse is packed correctly and all locations are clearly marked
- All Distribution staff are available to assist at stock takes
- Cycle counts are checked to ensure that all capturing is done accurately
- All staff are aware of the required health and safety rules.
- All housekeeping is maintained on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring Regular maintenance, service and inspection of all forklifts, trollies, ladders, jacks, scales, Fire Room, Roll up Doors and Fire Roof.
- All goods are packed and stored according to the Company’s policies and standards.
