**SALES AND CLINICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST**

**Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg**

**Contract: Full Time**

**Johnson & Johnson, MedTech -** **Biosense Webster department **has** **an immediate opening for **Sales and Clinical Support Specialist role **which will be based in** Johannesburg.**

**Overall, Purpose of this Job**:
The individual will be responsible for executing specific customer development and training plans by providing full clinical support to all the Biosense Webster (BSW) accounts within their territory. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing manager, the individual will be encouraged to collaborate with other members of the team to optimize customer experience and improve sales and take share opportunities.

**The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have**:

- Meet and exceed sales targets for their geographic area.
- Increase catheter utilization in Electrophysiology to gain market share and to achieve sales targets aligned with the Business Plan.
- Provide Clinical Support for coverage for cases performed with the CARTO 3 Navigation System
- Deliver customer training plan and effectively transfer knowledge to empower customers to use BSW kit effectively and independently.
- Align with mandatory training and attend local and abroad training programs to maintain and develop knowledge required to fulfil job role optimally.
- Develop in depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers on all levels
- both clinical and non-clinical partners, develop tailored solutions which, improve sales and sales potential for Biosense Webster.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor's products and strategies in the local market.
- Adopt Credo based principles in all interactions with internal and external customers.

**Qualifications** We’d love to hear from YOU, if you have**:
**Required**:

- Relevant Human Science degree or equivalent.
- At least 1- year work experience in an EP Lab, advantageous
- IBHRE accreditation is desirable.
- Knowledge of computer assisted surgery systems and/or 3D Mapping systems.
- Good social skills and be able to build positive relationships quickly.
- Have the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge, and the ability to communicate optimally with every level of the hospital hierarchy.
- Self-Motivated and have a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced role.
- Must be self-disciplined, organized, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Teammate and independent problem solver.
- Creative / innovative.
- Computer software package skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Full and Clean driving license.
