Top Automotive plastic component manufacturing firm seeks Injection Moulding Specialist ~ Automotive Manufacturing. To oversee the technical aspects of Injection Moulding on Engel machines.

Non-Negotiables (We will check):

- BEE: Open to all races. Only under 55.
- 5 years Plastics Injection Moulding
- 5 years Tooling and Die creation and maintenance
- 5 years Cycle time setup
- 5 years Resin and Pellet selection
- Results Orientated

What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Automotive plastic component manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.
- Tooling and Dies
- Resin and Pellet Selection
- Cycle Times
- Engel Machine Configuration or Equivalent
- Quality Assurance such as Warpage Prevention

Key Job Deliverables:

- Ensure optimal quality parts produced
- Ensure machine correctly configured
- Optimise SMED

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Plastics Qualification
- Practical understanding of how to injection mould components
- Practical understanding of tooling and Dies and how Dies are created and maintained
- Practical understanding of Cycle Times and how to adjust them to ensure quality components
- Practical understanding of the various types resins and pellets used in injection moulding
- Advantageous: Specific experience on Engel Machines
