Rental Finance Clerk

The Amdec Group is currently looking for a Rental Finance Clerk to join the Rental Department based at the Head Office in Tokai, Cape Town.

The head office rental department is responsible to make sure that landlord payments and tenant refunds are paid timeously.

The primary purpose of the role is to take ownership of the administrative duties and assist with payments to landlords. We are looking for someone who can grow with the company and take on more responsibilities over time.

You will be responsible for:
**1.** **Finance**
- Assist with monthly invoicing to tenants;
- Ensure tenant statements / invoices are send out on time;
- Prepare and verify landlord and tenant banking details;
- Ensure the banking details are loaded on PropWorx;
- Send out bank statements daily to our Rental Offices;
- Prepare payment requisition for monthly creditor payments;
- Assist with Landlord payments and Tenant refunds;
- Ensure landlord statements are send out after payments has been done;
- Ensure that hard copies and electronic payments, refunds and/or deposit transfers are saved correctly on the server;
**2.** **Mandate and Lease Agreement**
- Ensuring that all mandates and lease agreements are countersigned and filed correctly;
- Obtain all supporting documents from the Rental Administrators;
- Ensure that all FIC and/or FICA documents are compliant;
**3.** **General**
- Assist with any ad hoc task that may arise;
**Required Experience**:

- 1-2 years finance/creditor experience (essential)
- 1-2 years rental administration experience (advantageous)
- PropWorx, RedRabbit and QuicklySign user knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
