**Job Description**:
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Programme Manager

Purpose of Position
The role of the Lecturer is the delivery of training and education of students, student consultations, the establishment of a knowledge base of the discipline through academic research & development; whilst providing overall support to Academic department.

**Requirements**:
Qualification:

- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s/ Honours/ Masters Degree in the IT (Computer Science/Information Systems)
- NQF level 6 qualification in Education (PGDHE or equivalent); Training and Development an added advantage.

**Experience**:

- 3 - 5 Years Lecturing experience
- Experience in guidance and counselling, and remediation
- Experience in combinations of different ICT modules like any combination of the following modules:

- System Analysis and Design Specialist
- IT Security Specialist
- Programming in Java, C#, CSS, and JavaScript
- Database, oracle or MySQL
- Web Development
- IT Management
- Business Information
- Enterprise resource Planning
- Mobile Application Development
- Introduction to Programming Logic
- Mobile App Scripting
- Open Source Coding

- Project Administration
- Information and Knowledge Management

- Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within the Rosebank College environment
- Developing and implementing intervention programmes for at-risk students
