Job responsibilities:

- To verify that the construction is done according to the design proposed and agreed upon by the Owner and EPC and approved standards according to DoE's indication and South African regulation
- Verify that the EPC contractor is working with the latest drawing approved by the Owner
- To verify that the construction is done following the project schedule agreed upon and approved by the Owner
- To assist the Project Manager with technical problems arising during the project construction period
- To verify the quality procedures and tests undertaken during construction
- To keep updated, with the latest versions, of the project construction documentation archive
- To do a weekly report on the construction progress and identify any potential delays or unscheduled events
- To write and keep updated a pending list during the construction according to the quality procedures of the Owner
- To assist with the tests done during the commissioning period
- Verify the achievement of the payment milestones
- Verify the delivery of the as-built drawings and verify the construction is following the approved designs included in the said drawings
