Sales Representative

Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective clients within the mining industry.
- Conduct on-site visits to mines to demonstrate equipment capabilities, assess client needs, and provide technical solutions that ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Leverage underground mining experience to understand customer challenges and articulate product benefits effectively.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organization.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Liaise with the engineering team to provide feedback from clients about product requirements; or ideas to help them innovate or stay ahead of where the market is going.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Proven work experience in underground mining operations.
- Experience in sales, particularly in mine ventilation equipment or similar industrial products.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, or related field) is preferred.
- Additional sales training or certification would be an advantage.
