Responsibilities Support customer interface for program assumption/technical issues. Evaluate and manage design changes. Analyse production drawing and prepare product specifications for implementation into production. Prepare implementation of new models, face-lifts & ECI projects from concept phase to production start. Investigate localization; VAVE and standardisation. Conduct design reviews with the Design Team. Investigate new components. Support engineering data processing (i.e. 2D drawing) for new business; facelift; engineering change instructions or request for quotes. Minimum Requirements National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Essential). B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Advantageous). Project Management Diploma (Advantageous). 3 to 5 years product development experience in the automotive environment (Essential). 2 years’ experience in an automotive industry (Desirable). 1 year experience in a wiring harness environment (Desirable). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). #J-18808-Ljbffr
