A role has become available for a Research Field Assistant for our Tomato Breeding programme based in Komatipoort. The purpose of this role is the breeder with day-to-day operations thereby ensuring that research activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Supervises handling of seed.

2. Supervises planting programmes.

3. Supervises plant husbandry.

4. Executes and supervises data collection.

5. Supervises harvesting of plants.

6. Supervision of Labour.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Grade 12 (Matric) National Senior Certificate (Essential)

Diploma in Agriculture (Preferential)

3 years relevant agriculture/research farm supervisor experience
