**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Execution**: Develop engineering project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets. Oversee project execution to ensure each phase progresses as planned.
- **Team Management**: Lead engineering project teams, coordinate team members' work, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- **Communication and Reporting**: Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, regularly reporting on project progress and key issues.
- **Risk Management**: Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, and develop contingency plans.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
- **Contract Management**: Participate in project bidding, contract negotiations, and management to ensure contract terms align with company interests.
- **Cost Control**: Monitor project costs to ensure completion within budget.
- **Site Management**: Supervise construction sites, ensuring construction progress, safety, and quality meet requirements.
- **Documentation Management**: Maintain engineering project documentation, ensuring all project materials are updated and filed promptly.
- **Legal and Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure projects comply with South African laws and regulations, handling legal and regulatory matters as required.
- **Process Management**: Be highly familiar with engineering process standards, ensuring construction processes adhere strictly to these standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large, residential projects.
- **Professional Skills**: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6), PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
- **Technical Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of construction codes, engineering processes, and management procedures, with a strong knowledge of South African laws and regulations.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities, with strong problem-solving and stress management skills.
