A well-known Property Management company, is seeking a Portfolio Assistant.

The ideal applicant for the position is someone who looks to go the extra mile and exceed their expectations.

Looking for a mature person with strong admin, correspondence and communication skills. Previous experience in Property Management, specifically sectional title management and is familiar with the Sectional Title Scheme Management Act, **is a REQUIREMENT**. Should you not have experience in this field, of a minimum of two (2) years, **please do not apply**.

Job Description includes but is not limited to:

- Direct point of contact for trustees and members
- Respond to all queries in a 48 - hour period
- Prepare and send out notices for AGM’s and Trustee meeting
- Management of Insurance Policies and all related claims
- Bringing all levy arrears to Portfolio Managers attention
- Attending to CSOS Annual Return
- Co-Ordination of all required maintenance (scheduled and unscheduled)
- Assisting the Property Manager with project management tasks
- Distributing of resolutions and letters to members and trustees
- Following up on all fines and infringements from members and tenants
- Point of contact for building managers / Estate Managers / Supervisors
- Management of gate access systems and list of members
- attendance to processing of payments to service providers

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Highly organized
- Problem solving and dealing with demanding clients
- Computer literate & use of technology a prerequisite
- Attention to detail
- understanding of basic accounting principles
- Presentable
- Clear health, criminal and credit record
- Own transport
- Clear list of references
- Accurate employment history

Market related salary offered in relation to experience.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
