There is a **_strategic career enhancement_** opportunity available with a leading financial services group for a **Divisional Head - Forecasting, Planning and Business Optimisation**.**
**Position Overview**:
The main purpose of this position is to **provide leadership and strategic direction to the Forecasting, Planning** **and Business Optimisation Division** in the **_Supply Chain Management_** business unit of the group.
Core focus areas include **LEAN management**, **Forecasting, Planning and Business Optimisation**.
**Key Performance Areas**:
- _Provide input into the _**_departmental strategy and policy_**_, aligned to the group strategy._
- _Develop _**_strategy-aligned divisional operational plans, policies, and procedures_**_._
- _Oversee and authorise the _**_provision of management information_**_._
- **_Oversee divisional projects_**_ and the _**_implementation of the _**_supply chain management strategy_**:
- _Provide _**_leadership and oversight to industry programmes and projects_**_._
- _Oversee the _**_planning for the optimal supply_**_ of products_**_._
- _Oversee the _**_formulation of a framework for supply chain technologies, systems, and solutions_**_._
- **_Develop and maintain strategic relationships_**_ with major stakeholders._
- _Manage the _**_implementation of policies_**_._
**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:
- A **completed Honours degree** in **Commerce** or **Supply Chain Management** /**Master’s degree** will be preferred.
- A **minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience** at a **General Management Level**.**:
- At least **6 years **in a **Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)** or related **Operations Management environment**.
