Job Description

Hello, Data Scientist

Role Purpose

This role is within FNB Retail Sales Contextual Enabler, who determine and drive customer context across Retail. The team explores new data sources and analytical methods that enable innovation and creativity in addressing the holistic customer need. We collaborate with multiple stakeholders in designing and implementing customer journeys for campaigns and offers that deliver contextual and personalised solutions. Our journeys and experiments rank the right product at the right time to a customer.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Actuarial Science
- Preferred Qualification: Honours Degree
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced coding skills in SAS
- Intermediate knowledge on advanced analytical techniques e.g., statistical methods, segmentation, optimisation, experimental design
- Leadership experience will be advantageous.
