**Skills and Qualifications/Certifications Required**:

- Matric plus Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- VMware Certified Professional Desktop Management (VCP-DTM)
- Minimum of three years of experience in managing Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Minimum of three years of experience in VMware vSphere.
- Minimum of three years of experience in VMware Horizon.
- Experienced in working with DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Active Directory.
- Good knowledge of network concepts such as Load Balancers, Firewalls, VLANs, and Subnets.

**Responsibilities**:

- The individual should be able to troubleshoot and support all the components within a complex Horizon deployment, including: Cloud Pod Architecture, Connection Brokers, Universal Access Gateways, VMware Workspace One Access, Dynamic Environment Manager, App Volumes.
- The Individual should have the ability to install, configure and manage a complex VMware vSphere infrastructure, including virtual network configuration, storage allocation, and configuration of DRS and HA to meet the requirements of a Horizon environment.
- The individual needs to have the ability to create and maintain Active Directory Group Policies.
- The individual should be able to perform activities that support user needs, including determining user rights & levels, conducting compatibility testing for new equipment, making system updates/ upgrades, troubleshooting systems equipment & connectivity issues, and scheduling & testing of update packages. Creating and maintenance of Virtual Images.
- The individual will be required to create and maintain operational and configuration documentation related to the supported Horizon Environments
