**Job Advert**:
We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Digital Specialist to join our vibrant and dynamic Digital Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager: Digital, the role will be responsible for managing the health, content and optimization of the website. This includes ensuring that everything is in working order; all tracking is in place; best practices and continued recommendations for increased website traffic, conversions & optimal UX is implemented; and overseeing all content management - ensuring both product & marketing material is uploaded, displaying correctly and removed according to deadlines.
**Qualifications**:**
Essential**:
- Degree in Digital Marketing/Marketing or equivalent
**Preferred**:
- A qualification in Information Systems, web and mobile design or development
- Completion of Google Accredited Courses
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:**
Knowledge required**:
- Knowledge of digital channels i.e. web, digital media, social media, USSD, SMS, E-Mailers and Apps
- Knowledge of digital industry, trends, tools and techniques and the integration thereof
- Know best practice in digital to advise and influence decision-makers about the digital initiatives, priorities and opportunities. Specifically around UX ,SEO and Web based CMS
- Knowledge of digital reporting and various analytical tools Excellent understanding of integration across digital channels (Websites, App, USSD, SMS, E-Mailer, Social Media Platforms)
- Knowledge of online commerce best practice
- A working knowledge of the latest MS packages (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
- An in-depth understanding of Google Analytics
- An in-depth understanding of Digital Media Mix and reporting metrics

**Experience required**:
**Essential**:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant digital experience gained in a Digital Marketing environment
- Experience in working with UX, SEO and Web based CMS (Magento preferrable)
- Experience utilising job ticketing system
**Preferred**:
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience gained in a Retail environment
- A working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience utilizing a Product Information Management tool
**Key Responsibilities**:**
1. Website Health & Optimisation**
- Monitoring of website to ensure optimal user functionality
- Ensure all tracking & links are in place and operating
- Incident management: liaising with technical team to ensure customer, business and marketing issues and bugs are resolved
- Field change requests from internal users - ensuring all technical requirements are briefed into relevant parties
- Assist with all testing
- Stay abreast of digital trends & technologies
- Continuously review the website and recommend optimisations (UI, UX, SEO, etc.)
**2. Campaign & Online Commerce Support**
**a. Campaigns**:
- Provide campaign recommendations & execute on deliverables required and agreed by stakeholders
- Ensure website campaign selector tool is kept up to date
- Oversee execution, ensuring all creative assets & product information are according to spec, uploaded & removed according to deadlines, and displaying correctly
**b. Online commerce**:
- Ensure product imagery & information is:
- According to spec
- Uploaded in accordance with in-store dates & online product hierarchy
- Displaying correctly
- Removed according to prescribed deadlines
- Liaise with Online Commerce team to determine website best practice requirements & implement against briefs received
**3. Content Management**
- Ensure all weekly campaign planning is in place & team members are aligned
- Oversee team execution of correct upload, removal & QC of all marketing material, campaign product and value-added content, according to campaign timings
- Ensure T&Cs (supplied by stakeholders) for all competitions & relevant campaigns are uploaded & removed according to stipulated times
- Field stakeholder requests for website content updates - overseeing execution thereof by team
**4. Reporting**
- Campaign analysis & reporting on agreed KPI’s
- Platform reporting on agreed KPI’s
- Ensure Google Tracking is working optimally and facilitate changes where applicable
**5. Management**
**a. People Management**
- Ensure goals, KPIs & processes for reports are in place and clear
