You will be responsible or the following but not limited to:
Responsible for proactive as well as reactive Technical Support
Excellent knowledge on Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Office 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper V / VMWare

Must have a good knowledge of TCP/IP Networking protocols, VLANs, installing and configuring firewalls, managed switches, and routers
Must have a good understanding of network security, malware/ransomware prevention
Provide high level of support on Windows Servers, workstations, and laptops
Support of Microsoft Servers
Workstations, Microsoft 365 Suite, Azure, Active Directory, TCP/IP
Internet services such as Mail Servers including Exchange and Linux IMAP/SMTP servers
Linux experience, with CentOS or derivatives, also would be very valuable
Action all user support.

Perform daily checks on servers

General AD configuration and management

Veeam back-up monitoring and setup

Perform general server maintenance

ICT asset management

Act as technical contact with ICT suppliers

Setup of access points and handheld scanners

Kyocera printer management

Monitor systems and network (NETXMS) & troubleshooting

WAN & LAN network configuration

**Education**:
Matric

Related IT Degree/ Diploma or other networking qualification

4-5 years’ experience working with the various server and network technologies
IT & Networking environment and must have formal IT qualifications, ideally Microsoft roll-based certifications

Relevant certification i.e. A+ Certified, N+ certified or equivalent

Experience with Microsoft Windows and associated Microsoft server products (MCSA or equivalent)

Experience with Active Directory, Windows server 2016, SQL server 2014, Remote desktop services (MCSE or equivalent)

Experience with Office 365 (Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent, Power BI)

Experience with VMware

Remote desktop services

Working knowledge of ESET, Fortigate, Paltrack, Mimecast and Qlikview will be beneficial

Travel to 3 different sites in Cape Town

Valid driver’s license & own transport

Perform standby duties

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
