Up for a new challenge and feel you can make a difference? The Claims Department is looking for an enthusiastic individual as a Junior Legal Investigator in our Legal Department. The Legal investigator will be appointed on recovery and liability claims where we require Accident report copies, witness details and statements, OP details, CCTV footage, docket copies, etc. to enable us to make an informed decision on a claim and to enable us to successfully proceed with a recovery, rather than closing the claim and also to successfully defend or apportion a third-party liability claim. It will be expected from him to furnish a summary with the supporting documentation once he has finalised an investigation.
What will make you successful in this role?
Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
Minimum 5 years experience in the STI environment
Basic Claims Validations experience or knowledge
Basic knowledge of Legal Claims pertaining to Recoveries and Liabilities, including merits and apportionment of damages
Investigation experience Essential Requirements
Attention to detail
Sound knowledge of Claims Philosophy
Ability to work independently
Strong Admin and Reporting skills
