**Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise)**
- Previous experience of creating content on political topics.
- High-level knowledge on the worlds key issues.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress
- Solid time-management skills
- Self management of project, time lines, remote work culture
- Bachelors Degree in Politics, Communications, Journalism or relevant field English Literature

**Duties**:

- Write and edit copy on data-driven topics such as the economy, foreign relations, and politics.
- Proven work experience as a Senior Copywriter, Product Copywriter or similar role
- Optimize existing page copy for SEO performance.
- Research new topics and create a long-term content plan.
- Manage workflow of other team members including the data team.
- Periodically check existing content for required updates.
- Work in conjunction with other teams such as design and development to enable improvements in overall site performance.
- Work towards predetermined goals for website sessions and pageviews.
