Depot Manager

You will have the following experience:
Ensure orders are prepared accurately ahead of time

Coordinating of sales orders, loading and dispatch of vehicles

Route Planning

Verify quantities against invoices and receipts

Issue stock against orders

Work closely with truck driver

Verify quantities of product quickly and accurately

Conduct stock taking, stock rotation and quality control with accuracy

Be capable of following instructions quickly

Packing and transporting of goods is completed efficiently, timeously and with no damages

The correct goods are delivered according to the customer correctly checked order / invoice.

Returns are checked against paperwork to ensure accuracy and the correct returns procedure is followed.

Manage the stores delivery transport for all local orders, ensure customer goods are dispatched without damages and are on time.

Adhere to company processes and procedures

Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, inventory, and other dispatch information

Maintain neatness and cleanliness of your work area at all times

Communicate clearly and quickly in a busy environment

Handling orders from existing

POD’s

Manage 10 drivers and 10 general workers

Open and closing of warehouse

Handling of complaints and resolving issues immediately

Issue orders

Stock controlling

Planning routes for drivers

HR duties like warnings issues

**Education**:
Matric

Relevant education and / or minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role

Depot experience

Distribution experience

Must have merchandising experience

Driver’s license and own vehicle

Computer Literate: MS Office & Sage Pastel

**Skills**:
Team player & trustworthy

Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work without supervision

Excellent time management skills
