We are looking for a reliable and energetic Commissioning Technician who has extensive VRV system experience

**JOB PURPOSE**

To commission systems as per Airvent standards and guarantee that all

site problems are resolved well, escalated in time and feedback is continuously shared with the

team.

**DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES**

Ensure Company dress code is adhered to at all times when representing the Company.

Arrive at work / the office on time every working day.

Ensure proper preparation and stock management is implemented before leaving the office to head out to a customer site.

Conduct oneself in the correct manner and in accordance with the standards detailed in the operations manual.

Provide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property.

Follow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by Franchisee / Operations Manager when working at customer premises.

Commission HVAC systems and equipment as per job cards.

Identify possible problems or poor workmanship on site.

Work overtime when required to do so by management.

Utilize all tools and equipment correctly and only use the same for the purpose for which it was intended.

Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.

Keep daily logs and records of all functions on site as required by management.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Wear the relevant personal protective equipment or clothing items as may be required by management with regards to health and safety

Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.

Conduct thorough site clean-up on completion of work at customer site.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**ESSENTIAL**
- Thorough background in electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems & VRV systems
- Capable of reviewing and interpreting diagrams, drawings and computer-generated designs and plans
- Proficient in Microsoft office and Microsoft outlook
- Organised and good communication skills
- Can prioritise workload
- Trade Tested
- Minimum 10 years working experience within HVAC Industry & 5 years VRV experience
- Driver's licence

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**ESSENTIAL**
- Commissioning of installed HVAC systems
- Provide commissioning data and relevant documentation
- Must be able to run diagnostic tests
- Approve completed installation as per required specifications
- Label all units as per as built plan
- Communicate any changes to the as built plans to the draftsman and make sure they are rectified
