Junior Designer

The role: This exciting role is for a Junior Designer. In this role you will be required to conceptualise and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate our clients’ brand identities, positioning and messaging through all brand touchpoints. We’re looking for a person who can see the whole picture, problem-solve effectively, and communicate exceptionally well.

If you have one to two years’ experience, are based in Durban, have produced great work, and are looking to grow your skills working on one of the top skincare brands, keep reading. Responsibilities:

- Conceptualise and execute award winning creative ideas
- Manage visual identity and consistency for the brand
- Interact with other agency teams/ divisions to develop creative concepts
- Understand how social media works: from consumer journey through to image limitations and formats
- Keep up to date on what trends are happening on social
- Create print, digital and social media layouts
- Ensure consistency and integration of design across all communication channels
- Responsible for seeing the idea through the creative process to final sign off
- Work to brief and show understanding and relevance to the target market
- Develop your professional skills on a daily basis
- Ability to edit video for social media is a mandatory

**Requirements**:
As this role is for a conceptual designer please provide a robust portfolio of creative work demonstrating conceptual ability and creative problem across all communication channels.
