Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Collecting and translating user insights into exceptional experiences by creating both functional and visually appealing features for Absa’s Digital Platforms.
- Collaborating with senior designers, and cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences across digital platforms.
- Assisting in the development of wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with the company's brand and design standards.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design solutions.
- Creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides and design specifications.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and banking technology.
- Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensuring consistency and coherence across all design elements and user interactions.

- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Marketing, or a related
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and InVision.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector an advantage
Education
Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (required)
