An opportunity exists for an exceptional **Boys Junior Prep School Receptionist and Front Office Assistant **to join the school as soon as possible

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome boys, parents and visitors positively as soon as they arrive at the Boys JP.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office or classroom.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (take note of all St Peter’s Safety & Security Policies and requirements, including ensuring class lists at Emergency points both upstairs and downstairs are always up to date; issue exit slips and record exits should pupils leave early).

**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Matric.
- Tertiary qualification is an advantage.
- At least 5 years experience in administration.
- Proficient in MS-Office.
- Experience working with children.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. laminating machines and printers).
- The ability to work under pressure, prioritize and schedule workflows.
- Excellent communication and written skills).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude.
