Konecranes has three main business areas - Port Solutions, Industrial Cranes and Service. We at Service business provide industry-leading maintenance services for all types and makes of industrial cranes and hoists. Our objective is to improve the safety, productivity and sustainability of our customers' operations.

Service business is now looking to hire **Supervisor** who will guide and support a team of field operatives and make sure that the team completes customer required equipment inspections & preventative maintenance according to the schedule and when needed will plan and agree upon alternative arrangements in close collaboration with the customer and team’s service planner. In this role, you will ensure that the customer’s requirements are being met and that work is carried out safely, diligently and to a high standard.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Ensure that Inspections & Preventative Maintenance are conducted within the allowed hours without compromising safety or quality. Communicate exceptions to manager as soon as possible.
- Ensure that Inspections are performed in accordance with established standards and within current Service Product parameters, findings are documented and corrective recommendations regarding the inspected equipment are done to the customer.
- Increase the number of improvement opportunities, recommendations and sales leads. Determine the customer’s intention to purchase repairs and communicate any actions needed to sell or complete repairs.
- Provide daily supervision, direction & technical support for site based Inspector/ Technicians with guidance from the manager or higher level management. Perform spot checks to ensure highest level of quality & workmanship.
- Consult with customer representatives regarding repair and safety related issues. Prepare labor, material, special tools, equipment requirements or hazards to complete all repairs. Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.
- Provide proper checklists and required forms for all inspection or service related documentation. This includes Service Reports, Time Sheets and Inspection Reports; obtain customer signatures on appropriate forms to document acceptance. Stage parts and components for jobs as required.
- Ensure the completion of all required paperwork and documentation and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide Quick Quote for immediate service or repair needs as requested by customer; obtain customer signature on appropriate forms to document acceptance. Complete and provide proper checklists and required forms for each Quick Quote to the appropriate person for tracking and follow up.
- Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle and assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify the local branch office of any deficiencies and assist in resolution of issues. Improve asset data quality.
- Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
- Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method.
- Support the implementation of the Service Model in the field

In addition, you might also perform other assigned duties or functions in line with the applicable delegation of authority.
