What will you do?

To provide hands-on supervision of the Eco-venture’s (home+) HR, finance and office management functions. This will include overseeing recruiting and onboarding processes, driving L&D across the venture as well as regular financial activities.
What will make you successful in this role?

Partner with the Santam HR team to ensure the end-to-end hiring process is executed effectively and timeously, including recruitment selection and onboarding
Facilitate the onboarding, learning and career development, to enable and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation and experimentation
Manage the performance management process for Home+
Manager ER matters in consultation with Santam HR
Supervise and record key day-to-day transactions
Perform a bookkeeping function and create monthly management accounts
Meet with venture accountants, as needed, to enable the creation of accurate financial statements
Qualifications and Experience

3 -5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist and/or office management
Relevant tertiary qualification

**Knowledgeable about HR practices**: recruitment, talent development, performance management, legislation, labour relations, leadership and organisational development, change management and remuneration.
Good knowledge and understanding of HR Best practices, policies and procedures.
Proven experience in training and development of team members
Sound knowledge of accounting and taxation principles
Bookkeeping experience will be to your advantage
Experience working in a digital venture with an understanding of product, design and engineering roles will be to your advantage
Previous consulting experience, or experience with HR, change management and organisational effectiveness will be to your advantage
