The role of our **Sourcing/Product Development Manager** is essential in bringing new products to mass production. Developing and delivering products to the highest standards is at the core of what we do.

You will be instrumental in the growth and success of each of our brands. You will work closely with our global teams and suppliers in the development of new products, enhancing current products, leading the strategic sourcing activities, and developing strong relationships with existing and new suppliers as we grow our portfolio.

**What you'll do as a Sourcing/Product Development Manager**:

- Individual contributor role, responsible for owning the sourcing, product development activities, and pre-production processes for pertinent brand categories. Partnering with Brand Management to execute the brands vision and oversee the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
- through implementing best practice in manufacturing production execution.
- Develop sourcing strategy and processes that coincide with company KPIs.
- Communicate specifications and product details with our global manufacturing partners.
- Contribute to the refinement of development, engineering, and specifications processes.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of product information, sampling, and managing production schedules to meet launch expectations.
- Source world class suppliers for existing and new products, at a global level across multiple product categories.
- Partner with cross functional teams during the Pre and Post M&A acquisition phases.
- Partner with internal Procurement, Compliance and Quality management teams to ensure product quality and integrity are produced to the highest standard.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the product cost and quality targets to ensure the brand targets are exceeded.
- Assists with global product costing including cost charts, product cost evaluations, material market review and cost negotiations to exceed target margin expectations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent program. Masters in Engineering and an MBA are a plus.
- 5-8 year's experience in procurement/sourcing, product development, or other relevant sourcing functions.
- Experience in consumer products preferred.
- Experience in a Start-up Environment would be a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work evenings to meet with teams and external partners in multiple time zones
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to own large projects and important relationships in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem solving and the ability to identify and clearly present solutions.
- Self-starter mindset.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
