Job Position: Group Security Risk Manager

Ref: 4256

Location: Johannesburg (Sandton)

**Salary**: R25 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Minimum Matric
- 3 to 5 years of senior management experience in the security industry
- Risk assessment and site survey experience
- Strong background in Health and Safety environment
- Security Management Qualification highly advantageous
- Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including operational and client requirements
- Superb leadership, communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven experience as Security Manager or similar position
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment (eg CCTV)
- Sound knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Computer Literate
- Valid Driver’s license
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- A committed team player with the ability to take initiative

Key Performance Areas:

- Write and review security-related documents
- Train subordinate security professionals or organization members in security rules and procedures
- Plan security for special and high-risk events
- Review financial reports to ensure efficiency and quality of security operations
- Develop budgets for security operations
- Order security related supplies
- Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcements, fire, and other agencies
- Attend meetings
- Assist in emergency management, risk management and contingency planning
- Respond to operational sites medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, etc
- Prepare reports for internal investigations, losses, or violations
- Manage security investigations
- Monitor and implement security policies, programs, procedures and ensure site compliance
- Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risk or opportunities for improvement
- Conduct physical audits of properties on all operational sites
- Manage security service providers
- Manage the installation and monitoring of CCTV on all operational sites
- Assess and manage operational risk
- perform Risk Assessment and security service surveys and put mitigation measures in place

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to R25,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- senior management in security industry: 3 years (preferred)
- Risk assessment and site survey: 2 years (preferred)
- Health and Safety environment: 2 years (preferred)
- Security Management Qualification: 1 year (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations: 1 year (preferred)
- Security Manager or similar position: 3 years (preferred)
- technology and equipment (eg CCTV): 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- valid drivers license (preferred)
