**_CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: _**
To assist in producing high quality print work in the time allocated and ensuring that machines are well maintained.

**_KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:_**
- Maintain machine to specific guidelines set out by the supplier and Hirt & Carter
- Accurately follow instructions from Operators
- Thoroughly understand the work ticket before commencing the job
- Ensure that the feeder is properly loaded with the correct stock and size
- Pre-shift inspection of equipment
- Adherence to scheduled maintenance plan
- Report on maintenance problems via the correct system and follow procedure
- Adherence to housekeeping standards, SHE & OSH act requirements with a “ZERO INJURY” culture compliance

**_QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:_**_ _
- Matric or equivalent qualification with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Computer skills

**_BEHAVIOURS & ATTRIBUTES: _**
- Self-managed
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
