CA Finance has partnered with a leading logistics company offering solutions across Africa. They are currently seeking a Group Tax Manager to join their team in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

**Position overview**:

- Develop, implement, and take responsibility for the group tax strategy.
- Be responsible for all direct and indirect tax matters.
- Manage the tax provisions and general day to day tax compliance.
- Prepare and file required tax returns within deadlines.
- Ensuring full compliance, thorough transfer pricing policy review, maintenance, and implementation.
- Work alongside 3rd party advisors in country to ensure high quality planning, compliance, and consulting services.
- Review externally prepared tax returns as required.
- Be responsible for long
- and medium-term group taxation planning.

**Minimum requirements**:

- BCom Degree as well as a higher diploma or relevant professional qualification in tax.
- CA(SA) qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Tax Manager.
- Previous experience working in a multinational business would be essential.
- Experience working within Africa (ideally across multiple territories) will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Tax and Accounting software and advanced MS Office skills.
- Experience with Sage Evolution.
- Experience in group taxation planning, international tax, customs duties, and transfer pricing will be seen as highly advantageous.

**Further details**:

- This position is mostly office based with flexibility.
- Must be open to regular travel within Africa (non-negotiable).
