My client, a leading and well-known Retailer seeks to employ an E-Commerce Manager to join their dynamic team in Montague Gardens
- You will be responsible for the roadmap, project management and launch of the new ecommerce website along with all apps and channels on Shopify
- You will be required to have a deep understanding of the digital landscape developing the digital proposition for the business and working alongside marketing to develop digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate the customer to shop online
- Post Launch - You will be required to implement the operational plan to reach conversion, sales & customers satisfaction objectives
- Optimization of the eCommerce Channel performance, from e-merchandising & personalization and retention activities, to leveraging CRM insights to increase conversion and average basket size
- Actively merchandise the site and be responsible for all products, categories and pages on-site to accurately display correct information, links and images on the website
- Work closely with the development and media buying teams to optimise site and advertising performance.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly monitoring of product performance & on-site trends.
- Define and implement ecommerce trading metrics and reports
- Report on performance to the senior management team
- Work with the Marketing team to define budgets and deliver an effective trading comms plan. Optimise channel mix and spend to drive customer acquisition, purchase and loyalty.
- Own the Ecommerce P&L in partnership with finance
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual achievement of the Ecommerce revenue budgets.
- Manage the online customer services channel in line with the businesss customers satisfaction objectives
- Manage all 3rd party relationships (payment providers, stock2shop, dolfin, development partners and couriers)

EXPERIENCE + SKILLS:

- At least 5 years experience in eBusiness managing ecommerce revenues that exceed R150,000 a month.
- Ability to display a thorough understanding of the Digital Marketing activities required to drive traffic to websites
- Strong experience in eCommerce Operations (Content Management, e-Merchandising & personalisation)
- Proficient in Google Analytics. Experience with Shopify is a plus.
- Ability to display a solid understanding of Project Management and Stakeholder Management (understand decision and escalation processes)
- 3-5 years experience managing eBusiness operations is an advantage
- Excellent planning and administration skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under own initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be criminal clear
