Director IT

**Experience: 8-10 years of experience in IT roles, with 6 years in a leadership or directorial capacity in the (E-Commerce Industry).**

We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of IT in the fast-paced and innovative field of e-commerce. As the Director of IT, you will lead the technological strategies, digital transformation, and IT infrastructure development essential for the success and growth of our e-commerce operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a strategic IT plan aligned with the unique needs of the e-commerce industry.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing technologies to enhance the user experience, optimize operations, and facilitate business growth.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable and secure IT infrastructure to support e-commerce operations.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of servers, networks, and databases critical for seamless online transactions.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance platform functionality and user interfaces.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect customer data, payment information, and proprietary e-commerce technologies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and optimize digital marketing technologies to drive online traffic, enhance customer engagement, and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement personalized marketing strategies based on customer data.
- Implement data analytics tools to track website performance, user behavior, and sales trends.
- Provide actionable insights to improve decision-making processes and optimize the e-commerce customer journey.
- Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors and service providers catering to the e-commerce industry.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team with expertise in e-commerce technology, software development, and technology support.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the IT department.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, online payment systems, and industry-specific technologies.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, online advertising, and CRM tools in the context of e-commerce.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with successful e-commerce brands or platforms.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in e-commerce technology, including AI-driven personalization and omnichannel experiences.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance standards and best practices in the e-commerce industry.
