**ROLE SUMMARY**:
Reddam House Constantia is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Preparatory School Drama Teacher (Grades 1-7) to join the school from **1 January 2026** on a **full-time, permanent** basis.-
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Drama lessons.
- Create a nurturing learning environment that encourages creativity and participation.
- Demonstrate professional standards in punctuality, communication, teaching practice and homework expectations.
- Continuously reflect on and refine teaching practices and participate in school-wide professional development.
- Teach extra lessons on two afternoons per week when required.
- Produce high-quality learning resources.- Support all school initiatives and attend special occasions as required by the Preparatory School Head.
- Set and mark assessments, evaluate student work and write report comments.
- Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by the School Head or line manager.

Ability to set clear expectations and stretch learners to reach their full potential.
- Adaptable teaching style with strong use of feedback.- Excellent preparation, planning and assessment practice.
- Genuine care for student welfare and the highest teaching standards.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching primary-aged students.
- Confidence using ICT effectively in teaching.
- Experience teaching dramatic arts, public speaking and English.- Strong organisational skills, passion for teaching, and a positive attitude to change.
