**The Role**
To manage the productivity and effectiveness of the branch by providing operational and people leadership to ensure sustained profitability and optimal running of the branch aligned to the Company strategy.
**Skills and Experience**:

- Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric) - Relevant tertiary qualification - 5-7 years operations experience with 2-3 years at a supervisory level. (Sml - medium sized branch). (Large branch add 2-3 years as a Branch Manager) Freight sortation systems - Logistics and Warehousing - Budgeting and finance - Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - Good understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and other legislation - Basic knowledge of ERP or ERP related products - Process and optimization management - Planning, anticipating and using trends on freight volumes management Other - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Good time management / organisational skills - The ability to manage numerous priorities at once - Proven reasoning and analytical skills - Managerial / leadership/HR skills - Ability to anticipate and solve problems - Succession planning
