**Job Advert Summary**:
MHR is looking for experienced **Advanced Life Support Practitioners (ALS) / Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP)** to work **part-time shifts** in **Hermanus**in** the Western Cape** province.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Advanced Life Support Practitioner (CCA, Ndip) or other relevant qualification is essential
- Professional registration with HPCSA as an ALS/Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP)
- A valid drivers’ license (including a Public Drivers Permit - PrDP)
- Proven operational experience as a Paramedic or newly qualified Paramedic - 1 year’s ALS operational experience will be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of the EMS environment
- Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
- Upholds high ethical and professional standards
- Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
- Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
- Reaches sound decisions through the evaluation of relevant information
- Strives to identify and deliver on patient's needs and continuously focus on the patient experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversees and ensures operational readiness for emergency calls
- Administers patient care in line with scope of practice
- Liaison with trauma staff and doctors
- Provides basic shift administration services
