**Position Overview**:
As the Head of Human Resource Department at Finfix/Afriskuld, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and values. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with a strong understanding of South African labor laws and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Provide leadership in talent acquisition, employee development, and retention.
2. Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving workplace conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations.
3. Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs.
4. Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills.
- Support career development initiatives.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Conduct periodic salary reviews and benchmarking.
7. Employee Engagement:
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Support the organization of team-building activities and recognition programs.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the financial services industry.
In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
