Charles Hope is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Bar Supervisor** to join our team. Your role as a supervisor is to oversee the action, keeping the energy high, the service flowing and the guests happy, you will still be out on the front lines, serving customers and working the bar, but you will also have an eye on the team too.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 
- Leading and mentoring a hard-working team of bartenders & Mixologists in a busy environment.
- You will report to our Hospitality Manager and be responsible for running all areas of the bar on site.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the bar whilst maintaining a positive working environment for the team
- You’ll be responsible for overseeing and providing excellent beverage quality, speed, and service.
- Training and maintaining a competent bar team—providing regular appraisals and keeping the team engaged.
- Ensuring that you hit successful GP and stock levels.
- Ensuring vigilant recording of all wastage and costings.
- You’ll be responsible for your team's rota in alignment with budgeted staff costs.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Stock ordering.
- Monthly stock takes carried out with variance reports given to the Hospitality Manager.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume venue.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- A team player who can collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and profitable operation.
- Be able to demonstrate the confidence in supporting a small team, working to targets and delivering a speedy service with passion on the bar.
- The role involves elements of Duty Manager for the Aparthotel, so experience in this area is also a benefit.

EXPERIENCE: 
- Bar Supervisor:2 years (required) 
- Mixology: 2 years (preferred) 
- Duty Manager: 2 years (preferred)
