Maintenance Planner

We are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Planner / Buyer to join our food manufacturing plant in City Deep, Johannesburg.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (preferably with English, Maths and Science).
- 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Any technical experience/ background would be advantageous.
- Previous procurement experience required in a technical field.
- Experience on DMS or another similar maintenance and store management system.
- Ability to work under pressure, within a team and on your own.
- Self-motivated and dedicated, as well as honest and reliable.
- Ability to train staff on required skills.
- Strong technical and administrative aptitude.
- Good physical Health, Assertive, Dedicated, and good people, and communication skills.
- Good disciplinary and attendance record.
- Good housekeeping skills.
- Computer literate.

**Responsibilities**:

- DMS update and maintaining our schedules.
- DMS Reports.
- Monitor and control DMS system.
- All equipment history on DMS to be functional.
- Develop new schedules when needed.
- Scheduling maintenance with artisans.
- Procurement duties (Vendors, sourcing and proposal of preferred suppliers, obtain quotes, identify cost saving opportunities, follow up on outstanding orders).
- Update of daily data (technical).
- Store stocktake (Daily, Weekly and Monthly).
- Audits and feedback on job cards.
- Preventative Maintenance strategy for all equipment.
- Housekeeping.
- All relevant Ad
- hoc duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to R38 000,00 per month
