**FREELANCE POSITION: MYES CONNECT ASSISTANT**

My English School (MyES) is an English language school that started in 2011 in Italy and which now has more than 60 schools in Italy, France and Spain - and we are still growing We are really proud to be an innovative leader in the world of EFL, to be a fun and friendly place to work and study, and, above all, a place where people, MyES students and MyES team members, come first.

Connect is MyES’s online teaching platform. We teach English online to students across Italy and Europe. Our teachers hold at least CELTA or TEFL certificates, have excellent people skills, are experts in teaching online, come from all over the world and are based in different countries. All our online English classes are scheduled within the Central European Time (CET) zone, so your working hours be based around these times.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a person with good communication and problem-solving skills who can help us ensure the quality of the teaching service, providing support on simple technical problems, managing teacher replacements and monitoring the quality of teaching

**KEY TASKS**

The key tasks for the Connect Assistant role include:

- responding via messages to emergency requests for technical help, and the ability to react quickly to issues, in order to promptly resolve them in real time
- finding cover teachers to cover lessons, from amongst the MyES Connect teaching team
- conducting quality checks, to ensure aspects such as teacher punctuality, quality of follow ups, such as teacher feedback to students, and other areas of quality are consistently in place.

You will be available to work on shifts during our peak hours, including evenings, Monday to Friday, as well as Saturday mornings.

**HOURS**

At least 16 hours a week, Monday to Friday daytime / evenings, with the possibility of further hours, according to the needs of the service
