**Job Advert Summary**: An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - Corporate Actions to join our Cape Town office. The Manager is responsible for the complete, accurate and timeous creation and valuation of all instrument types on Maitland’s fund administration platforms.
**Minimum Requirements**: - B.Com or similar tertiary business study and at least 5 years experience in Asset Management and/or Administration;
- Minimum of 2 years in a management role.
**Duties and Responsibilities**: Operational Management: - Monitoring of service delivery by the teams in terms of SLA and managing clients’ expectations regarding deliverables;
- Management of the Team Leaders and Specialists responsible for service delivery of the various functions;
- Management and co-ordination of team deliverables relating to projects and new client/fund onboarding;
- Providing mentorship and motivation to staff and ensuring that appropriate knowledge sharing and skills training are provided;
- Align the teams’ strategies and KPIs to that of the broader Fund Services strategy. Risk Management: - Managing risk in the teams’ activities by reviewing processes and ensuring that adequate controls are in place;
- Review of incidents and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvements through Maitland’s risk management framework. Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal clients;
- Ensure that an SLA is in place and adhered to;
- Work closely with the Client Management teams to ensure clients receive the optimal service levels. Product Management: - Assessing opportunities for efficiencies and reduced overhead in existing processes, including new technologies and vendors;
- Collaboration with technology and development teams to implement process optimization initiatives.
**Skills and Competencies**: - Strong industry knowledge and experience, specifically within Corporate Actions;
- Ability to manage leaders and projects in an agile environment.
