**Job Advert Summary**: The primary responsibility of the Administrator - Corporate Actions involves the accurate and timeous identification and processing of all Corporate Action Events to the various downstream systems; and the associated reconciliation of said events back to custody. The Administrator - Corporate Actions will also need to contact clients for elections where required, and process accordingly.
**Minimum Requirements**: - A relevant Diploma or degree;
- Preference will be given to applicants who have 2 years Asset Management experience, an understanding of Financial Markets;
**Duties and Responsibilities**: The Administrator - Corporate Actions will be expected to: The successful applicant will be expected to - Access information from various sources (Custodians, Bloomberg etc) and compile an event notification to our clients;
- Analyze event notification and ensure accurate & timeous processing of all events on ex-Date;
- Reconciliation - Pre & Post the Event reconciliation of entitlements to CSDP’s;
- Ensure all queries are identified and actioned timeously, per SLA’s with clients;
- Updating process documentation and assist in training for new staff joining the team;
- Assist Team Leaders and Specialists with ad hoc projects as the need arises.
